Homework Guidelines

1. Have a homework area: good lighting, proper seating at a table or desk, sufficient space, and adequate supplies. Eliminate distractions such as the TV.

2. Schedule homework time: Establish rules against using the phone, TV etc. until homework is completed neatly and accurately.

3. No guessing: Make sure you understand directions and what is expected. Have someone check your work.

4. No late work will be accepted.

What is bullying?

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. 

Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Examples of cyberbullying include mean text messages or emails, rumors sent by email or posted on social networking sites, and embarrassing pictures, videos, websites, or fake profiles.

What to do if you are being bullied

  • Tell the person who is bullying you to stop in a calm, clear voice.
  • Walk away. Don't fight back.
  • Tell an adult.
  • Stay away from the place the bullying happens.
  • Stay near adults.
